“The 6,500-sqm museum that looks like a spaceship will be located in a 12,000-sqm Bonifacio Global City prime lot (near Burgos Circle).  It will be an eco-friendly facility, funded by 1 billion pesos -- 100% from the donations of corporations and individuals.”

The form of the roof and eco – sustainability technique which implemented in the building inspired me. I also interested with the roof of the building which is slanted and connecting the roof with the upper floor of the building.

“The California Academy of Sciences is among the largest museums of natural history in the world. The academy began in 1853 as a learned society and still carries out a large amount of original research, with exhibits and education [becoming significant endeavours of the museum during the 20th century.”

After doing some researches about this building, I found that the room division which Renzo Piano design, tries to separate the garden from the theatre using the foyer in the centre. It creates a gate effect which gets along with my concept. Furthermore, I also interested with the green roof which can be accessed for public.
